Halftime Adjustments / Mafah Status

Fell asleep after Tigers' comfortable halftime lead. Woke up it was 17-17, and Pitt drove for FG to take the lead.

Cade hits two big passes. Announcers state that Tiger running game has been a bust and the 2nd half has been all Pitt.

Cade brings it up the middle for 55 yard TD run! Tigers Defense holds on for win.

So how does Mafah run 17 times for 17 yards? Is he hurt? Is blocking non-existent? Either way, why is he still running? Why is he in the game?

As for halftime adjustments, hard to understand over several years that Tigers too often come out flatter in the 2nd half.

But a win's a win. Go Tigers! I'll skip Citadel. See you at South Carolina game.

I think it’s multiple issues with our running game. Mafa is hurt IMO. Our oline is busted up. Biggest issue is our running game has ZERO creativity.

If we are going to depend so heavily on the run, we need another go-to RB to take some of the load off Mafah.

It is crazy to me that they left Mafah in the game. He was a liability the entire game. Do the other guys fumble it a lot or have blocking problems?

The OL was a patchwork and something is wrong with mafah. Pitt blitzed on almost every down and overwhelmed all our blockers.

The weird thing is that riley had no adjustment and we kept mafah in when he clearly is missing some fire that he had earlier in the season.

Offensive coaching failure.

With 3 and out offense, D started caving in and we gave up the lead.

Cade with amazing decision wins a game that was pretty much over.
