I can't stand Sankey. However, I recognize he is doing exactly what he was hired to do. It is not his job to fight for anything other than the SEC. College sports, at least football and basketball, will be down to 35 teams that matter when he and the B1G commish are done gathering all the marbles (maybe 40 if they go to 20 teams each) unless the ACC and Big 12 merge and fight back for an equal share. They will fail and drag all their teams down with them if they don't. It is a matter of survival at this point.

My thoughts exactly. I saw him this morning and he really seemed to be rubbing other conferences, especially the ACC, noses in it. He likes to take credit for what Mike Slive really did in promoting and elevating the SEC.
