Sounds like we have no chance. FSU has incredible pitching and hitting. We have unexplainable gritty intangibles and what we did to sweep FSU last year. Doesn't sound good. Go Tigers! Beat the Semenholes.

this one will get ugly, the FSU pitchers are all good and will look like cy young winners against our hapless lineup of hitters. we were swept last weekend 26-8 and this weekend will likely be worse!

swept at home by FSU to end the season. Combined score was 30-9. They then beat us two more times in the ACCT a week later. That team still won 2 games in Omaha and probably would've played for the title if the coots hadn't gotten red hot.

The 2006 CWS team got swept at UVA by a combined score of 19-7. They still won 24 acc games, the acct, and won a game in Omaha.

Both of those teams also won 50+ games.

Now I will admit that this team doesn't appear to have the same level of talent as those teams, and thus may not have the same ceiling, but getting swept in baseball (even horribly) doesn't automatically mean a team isn't really good.
