May the Fourth be with you.

Remember waiting in line at the Mall Garden Theaters in Albertville, AL during the summer of 1977 to see this sci-fi movie with great special effects. To an 11 year old, it was great! As a 50-ish year old, I see it as a groundbreaking movie with the timeless theme of good vs. evil … but with overacted parts. Still love to watch it, though.

I was deployed until Oct '77 and had been hearing the hype for months and couldn't wait to get home to see it. Quickly realized special effects wasn't my bag and have never watched another episode. I must be really weird, huh.
