Just read where Huepul informed the team that they are moving on from Nick at QB. He tried to play the "I want more money" and TN said see ya! I wish coaches would band together and let these guys sit. No one sign them and cost them a career. The NCAA is not gonna help at all, so coaches could take into their own hands, but they have to be unified. Little chance if this, but I believe it's the answer.

I don’t think he had any choice, particularly after the guy skipped practice. I’ll be interested to see what team takes a chance on this malcontent

If he's any good and if there's a team in need of a QB and if there's a coach that's willing to give him what he wants, he'll land somewhere. FSU?

Maybe UNC also. If Brent wasn’t the coach I would put Oklahoma on the list also.

He was mediocre at TN and they were paying him $2 million and he was trying to force them to pay him more.
Who is dumb enough to pay him at the top of the market without proven performance?

Colorado seems to be the landing spot for spoiled, over-rated QB's.

I'm really shocked that these deals don't include a term of service for full payment. Seems like something that would easy to do by all schools. Give them a 50% signing bonus and the balance at the completion of 2-3 seasons. If that was done everywhere coaches could manage rosters based on contract terms.

CAN’T STAND TN OR THEIR COACH - THEY HAVE BEEN PAYING PLAYERS ALL ALONG - PURE GREED
Cufan, I've always pulled for Clemson and so do a lot of people in the SEC. The reason for me is my best friend played there in the late 70's and he had a relative that played there as well. Unfortunately, my buddy has since passed away. No school is without transgressions. Clemson players received money and favors under the table back then and, of course, there was the Tiger Girls, I think he called them, that gave 'special' attention we will call it to recruits on their visits as part of the recruiting enticements.
Hope Clemson has a good season and ends up in the SEC soon. We fight like cats and dogs against each other on game day but pull together for the betterment of the conference. Nico was a spoiled brat and seems to be controlled by his dad. Players are rallying around the other, young, QB's if that tells you something. Best to the Tigers.

He'll probably end up in Los Angeles. His sleazy agent probably already had an offer in hand. Sleaziest sport in the country along with college basketball.

Yep kudos to their coach. I stated yesterday that I figured they would cave but they said thanks but no thanks. He still has 3 years remaining and already initiating this kind of drama. Sounds like he was already making great money.

And he’s mid at best. Him wanting 4M per year is a joke. To say nothing of the principle of the whole matter.

I wonder if he had and agent that gave him that bad advice. I 2nd the wish that no team make an offer. Either way, I'm betting his value has gone down. I'd even bet it will be lower that what he already had at TN. It will most likely slow his development as he needs to learn a new system. Might even slow his progress toward the NFL.
