I saved the link as a gift, so you should be able to read it, though it's technically behind a paywall.
One thing to remember is that vaccines are put through more rigorous testing/approvals than non-vaccine medicines. This is because vaccines are given to people without any illness, whereas in medicines, we expect and tolerate some side effects.

But... if you want to employ Government force, public ridicule, or any other scheme of mandatory COVID vaccination - then you can go fug yourself. What's that slogan the left is so fond of??? Oh yeah - MY BODY, MY CHOICE.
Why can't we just get to a place with COVID where those that want to take the vaccines or don't want to take the vaccines can exercise their decision without ridicule, criticism, or derision?

Let me pretend to have virtue while shaming you. "Hydroxychloroquine is dangerous" even though it has been taken daily for months or years for over 65 years by nationals working in 3rd world countries. "Ivermectin is a horse de-wormer" is a preposterous lie from the left. It was created as a treatment for parasites in humans that was later found to be effective for animals.

The virus mutated, and was able to evade the vaccines and still infect people. But the vaccines still slowed the infections, and still were highly effective against severe infections & death.
Unvaxxed had much higher death rates, much higher severe infections, and still strongly higher infection rates.
I don't know why this still is being debated, when the success of the vaccines is obvious.

see the thing about covid is that it's really heavy and gets trapped in spittle. If you are 6 feet from someone you won't contact the disease because it falls to the ground.
Another way to prevent spread is to put up a 2'x3' piece of plexiglass between you and someone else.

Another thing about Covid is that it's really dumb. You can walk to your table in a restaurant with your mask on, and once you sit down and take the mask off that stooge of a virus can't find you. Another is that it will kill you in a heartbeat in church but you're completely safe at Walmart or a liquor store.

In Asia, masking was much more accepted, and they had alot better success weathering the early surges until the vaccines came out.
In the US, masks became a faux "freedom" issue for the same morons who think "ElEcsHun WUZ sTolin" in 2020. And it basically destroyed any attempts to weather the storm early and during the ramp-up of the vaccines.

I am a skeptic of the govt period. When they said the Covid vaccine was "completely safe", my Bravo Sierra meter went off immediately. No vaccine is, nor has ever been "completely safe".

The CDC said the vaccines were safe and effective. It seems they've been proven to be correct. The vaccines have saved millions of lives, have prevented millions of cases of severe covid, and also seem to have protected against long covid. Also, the side effects are things that work themselves out quickly, such as allergic reactions, myocarditis, etc. There is no vaccine that has been shown to have absolutely no side effects. But this vaccine does seem very safe, based on the numbers.

Actually the debate has cooled but the question of should I or should I not take the vaccine goes on for some. The question has long been settled for me and my family in that the vaccine is not for us. If the “debate” is settled for others in that they should take every shot offered then good for them and so be it. That’s what I mean by move on.

A family member had someone move in to live with her and she belatedly discovered her new roomie hadn't been vaccinated and now she's afraid to be in the same room with her. These people are healthy and in their early 20s. Of course this family member is a big Dem. Wonder how long it'll take, if ever, before they get over their media induced paranoia.

You would have been better protected against mortality risk and severe morbidity risk by getting a covid shot series. That's a known thing at this point, and not controversial except for deep in the fever swamp of MAGA-world.
But I don't see anyone breaking into your house to force you to get a shot either. You don't have to get one if you dont' want to. From a broader societal standpoint, we have moved on.

The goal of people like Siri, RFK Jr (and apparently you) is to not just denigrate the Covid vaccine - which as you know saved millions of lives - but to cast doubt on ALL vaccines by spreading lies. This will result in an explosion of diseases that were previously thought to be eradicated, because more people will not vaccinate their kids, and we'll lose herd immunity.
