ESPECIALLY at home. If Brownell is truly accomplishing what many here would claim (and an 18-4 record would indeed indicate), then we cannot lose to these sub .500 cellar dwellers. This is the time that strong programs build their case. We've won six in a row, so it seems to be happening, and I'm very happy with that. But NO SCRUBS!!!

A season of 30+ games is bound to include some uncharacteristically bad performances from a team. Combine that with another team playing great, or having a player get hot and play out of his mind, means a loss for the better team.
It happens to everyone, although if it happens to us I will fully expect the usual TNet meltdown telling us that we stink and that Brownell’s teams are “inconsistent.”

It happens to teams that are historically inconsistent and therefore get relatively little respect nationally.
At 18-4 and six wins in a row, can you rationalize a reasonable explanation for why we're just now looking to scratch the top 25? We were an Elite 8 team last season.
