Fedora - wants to build championship culture for UNC

A member of the audience asked Fedora about the academic issues, and whether he will monitor the classes football players sign up for to make sure they’re legitimate courses. Fedora responded with a question: “How many of you, when you stepped into your class and found out there wouldn’t be any tests, jumped up and said, ‘I’m not taking this class.”

The crowd laughed.

Don't know about you, but when I was at Clemson, I had no (zero, nada) classes that didn't have quizzes and exams.
And I don't think it funny that Larry "The Hat" thinks it funny that UNC had bogus classes the NCAA has yet to do anything about.

Every class I took at least had some measure of progress, whether it was a quiz or exam. I even had a final exam in a 1 credit hour competetive basketball class.

I do see what Fedora is hinting at....no kid is going to drop an easy 3 hr credit course that counts towards his degree. If there were all like that then you have to start questioning the validity of it all.

I know if I was 20 and the teacher said no exams in this class, I would've signed up and stayed everytime. Especially if I was an athlete who is there to play football first and take courses second.

So he dodged the question... I guess the answer is no, he won't be monitoring the team...***
