It was for Clemson to win both of the last 2 games against FSU?
Down 8-1 going into 9th inning, and down 11-2 going into 6th inning today.
With my best guess, I’d give it about 0.5% combined chance that Clemson wins both of those last 2 games given the point where they began their comeback.
This is going to be Clemson’s best offense ever.
If you were playing MLB The Show and turned the hitting difficulty to rookie, you would still not hit better than Clemson is right now. It’s literally like they are playing a video game.
Whatever Erik is doing needs to be copied everywhere else

Hold your horses. Hard throwing lefties have minimized us. Kennesaw state had one. Scar had one. Duke had one. FSU had one. That is the ONLY thing that I am keeping my eye on. No matter where we end up, national seed regional host whatever we’re guaranteed to get some two seed SEC team with some crazy arm that we’re gonna have to hit

FSU hit 18 home runs during the weekend series against Clemson yet didn't win a single game. How crazy and improbable is that?

About as wild as it gets. I heard a stat yesterday that of the 10 batters that went to the plate for FSU on Saturday in game 2, 6 of them hit a HR.

They didn't hit 18 and they didn't hit 6 in one game.
They hit 2 in Game 1
They hit 5 in Game 2
They hit 4 in Game 3
11 total home runs, not 18. 18 for the weekend is FSU+Clemson combined.

It seemed to me that FSU starting pitching was pretty good. It was their bullpen that was wild as a buck and couldn't break an egg in a rock pile. Our guys feasted on their relievers!

comebacks like that back to back. Or ever. You are right, that stuff just doesn't happen, usually not even once, much less twice, and on consecutive days.
Even though the 2nd one was a larger margin overcome, the first one still ranks higher for me. Down 7 runs, with only three outs left to play with, it was all or nothing.
But, the 2nd one was also noteworthy in that we still had to hold off the Criminoles for two more innings AFTER rallying and taking the lead. And, as that bomb from them showed, they had the firepower to retake the lead if our pitching had not held up.
So, in the final analysis, just DON'T analyze them, just enjoy the Hail out of TWO very improbable comeback wins, back to back. And say, GO, TIGERS!
