It’s possible everything was created last Tuesday to make it look exactly as it does now.
The thing is.. what reason do we have for thinking that’s true.
We can postulate whatever we want but it doesn’t mean much id you can’t test/verify it.

Is this an attempt to say that say genetic sequencing and believing in the supernatural are on the same footing? Because that’s what it sounds like so far.

Are you discussing God knowing us before we became flesh?

I don't remember it but I've concluded from several passages in Psalms that those who will spend eternity with God actually were sent to this world to glorify Him.
Now I'm just trying to figure out if I was a volunteer or if I was drafted. So it's like, What the devil did I get myself into!

you were known before you were assembled
if you are saved, then you are part of the body of Christ
if Christ always was, are you also not always too?

I like the question. For me, it falls under "characteristics of the soul."
In many religions, the soul never dies, you just spend eternity in Heaven, or Hell, or wherever. (That's not true in ancient Egypt, however, where if you failed the Feather vs. Heart test you were eradicated from existence, forever. So heaven, in one sense, was simply being allowed to exist after physical death.)
But, if one lives forever, in spirit, say, has one always lived in spirit, and just been clothed in a flesh body for our time on earth?
Or, was our soul created at the same time our physical body was created? Which makes man the creator of souls as well as flesh?
Or, did man just make the flesh and God infuse it with a soul that he made?
Or, if one wants to go Eastern, they can get into reincarnation of the body, with an eternal underlying soul.
And what age is this soul in the afterlife? The young us, the old us, or some other us that we don't even recognize while we are in our physical state here on earth?
Speaking of physical bodies and souls, several years ago Mrs. Fordt and I were at a travelling exhibition of the human nervous system. The physical thing that probably makes "you" the most "you" you can be...your brain, spinal cord, etc. And of course, it is key to your very understanding of existence...all your senses. It was a cool show.
Where is the soul in that bundle of nerves?

Anyhow, there was a very young mother and her very young child walking around the hall, and they stopped in front of a baby exhibit, much smaller than this pic.

The child looked at the baby and asked the mother, "Is that the baby's brain?" And the mother replied "No honey, babies don't have brains. They grow those later in life."
Mrs. Fordt, a teacher, leaned over to me and whispered "We're not going to make it, are we? As a species, I mean." All I could do was hold back my tears of laughter and tell her "I just don't know. When I grow a brain, I'll tell you."
