He basically re injured the Achilles he tore a few months back. This is very common with a torn Achilles to re-tear it within the first three months. The bad news is you develop extra scar tissue and you lose flexibility and strength in your foot and even calf.

What I had read was that he posted on social media somewhere around Christmas time on a trip with his GF not wearing the boot required during that stage of his recovery. Then the reinjury. The thought was that the Browns would use that as cause for breach of his contract. Then never heard anything after that.

That is one way to re-injure the Achilles, and that is why I used my boot for a couple extra weeks just to make sure it was ready to support 215 pounds. I was terrified of over doing it during physical therapy.
