This team is GOOD ! First game of the season and looked good ! Winthrop is a good team too so it wasn’t the usual Church League team down the road.

I think I heard a sportscaster say they were expected to be close to the top of their conference this year.

Yeah, second or third in the Big South behind UNC Ashville. Oh, remember Mike Morrell there. Former Clemson assistant under Oliver Purnell, and coached under Shaka Smart at different places.
Radford is the other team in that conference in the conversation. Tigers play them as well. Gave UNC a tough time early last night.
