Former Clemson kicker and midfielder signee Tanner Tessmann, who is Dabo Swinney's godson, was named to the US Men's Olympic Soccer Team on Monday. The mostly under-23 roster (by Olympic rules) was captained by Tessmann in an exhibition versus Japan earlier this summer.
Tessmann has reportedly signed a deal with Italian Serie A champion Inter Milan where he will have one more season with Venezia before moving to Inter Milan in 2025.
