Covid booster....where to get one if you want it....

So, I'm in my 50's.

I went to get a booster at the local Publix, where I've been getting them each year since 2021. The lady refused to give me one, because I don't have any of her listed co-morbidities. (I take a statin for cholesterol and that's all)

I then went to the local CVS, and they gave me one with no questions asked.

Not sure why Publix wouldn't do it, but I wasn't going to sit there and waste my time arguing with the lady that ruled me out....

My wife went on a different day, and had no problem getting the Covid booster. There was a different pharmacist on duty, and he didn't give my wife a hard time at all, and didn't ask her any questions about co-morbidities.

I don't know what to make of that, except different pharmacists at Publix are handling Covid shots differently.

Yeah probably just different pharmacists. CVS always asks me if I want the Covid or flu shot and I just politely say “no thank you”. They leave me alone after that so maybe it’s not fair to say they “push it”.

of me vs my wife. But then, I just figured, "nah, not worth the hassle". Life's too short to raise hell about every inconvenience. And Publix usually is a good place for filling prescriptions.

CVS doesn't usually push any vaxx's on me. I asked them for the jab this time, but they didn't otherwise say anything until I asked for it.

Maybe the local CVS stores have different marching orders on that, depending on their manager?
