Seriously what circumstances? Is WF's program better than ours at the moment? When is the last time they went to the tourney?
Are you referring to the circumstances of have people in the portal and not returning a lot? If so, please explain yourself. They have 6 players in the portal and only have 1 freshman coming in. They are losing their 2 best players, and have basically nothing returning.
We have an elite 8 and program breaking win total in the last 2 years. We have one of our best rated recruiting classes coming in that includes one of the highest rated recruits under brownell. We also just got the player we wanted, who happens to have similar measurables to the WF guy. Sounds like we got our guy.

players are bailing on Brownell faster than rats off a sinking ship. If you don't think recruits and players in the portal are keenly aware of that and legitimately concerned, you're kidding yourself.

Do you remember college sports?
Players would…you know…develop.
And sometimes they would get better from one year to the next…and still play for the same program and become really good.
That was awesome.

It would tell a reasonable person that perhaps they offered a better NIL or that he preferred a private college education or a smaller campus environment or maybe he simply clicked with their staff. No one, even Saban or Dabo, gets every player they recruit. Hopes this helps you understand.

I created the clemsonmountaineers in 2014 just to troll the LF (like Viz). Perhaps you did not realize that more than one person can have the same general outlook? Also, the LF is so predictable with their weak comments, the responses are really easy and write themselves.

I think what the Schweiger, Jackson, and Graves signings show us is that it's not all just about team strength/brand power. Butler, Creighton, and Wake Forest don't get chosen over Tennessee and Clemson for that reason. There are a myriad of factors, such as money, playing time, system, and perhaps even location, relationships, or culture alignment. Clemson (or any school) was never going to get all, or even most, of these prominent portal targets. But they will get some. The Tigers have already gotten 1 big one. And I doubt Davidson would've committed without good reason to believe there's gonna be some other big pieces coming. Time will tell, but it would be naive to panic just because some of the portal players are choosing schools we might consider "beneath" us.

no football program's getting the bulk of NIL funds. They are also traditionally good at hoops. Big East is basically nothing but name brand, basketball only schools. St. John's, Nova, Georgetown, Marquette, Seton Hall, etc.
