The NCAA soccer draw was revealed for us just now. Pretty good draw. #1 seed is Vermont in potential round of 16
Full bracket when the reveal is finished.

Not a bad draw for us at all...

Could make it to Final 4 by beating 1 team that is fairly clearly better than us (Vermont) plus 2 teams that are about on our level (Furman and Portland/San Diego) and 1 team that we should beat (W. Michigan). We could have easily had a draw with 2 teams clearly better than us and didn't get that.

Really happy with that seeding considering the last two years we've been totally hosed by the committee. I was afraid they may not even give us one home game. We'll have to come out focused and aggressive to take care of WM. Would be a great opportunity to get a good Clemson crowd at Furman if we advance.
As this team has shown this year, they can lose to just about any level opponent and then turn around and beat a ranked undefeated team by 4. Really hoping the disappointment of losing in round one of the ACCT will have this team angry to go far. Would he super happy if we could claw through to the sweet 16.

That is one of zaniest Seedings/Brackets

I've ever seen. Sticking NC State and UVA in the same quad is absurd. No one wants to play either team. How is SMU a 5 and Stanford a 12?
Clemson are an odd side this year. As Noonan said during the season, "We aren't the best side, but we can beat the best." Dangerous, but could 'face plant' absent focus/stupid "red" card. One thing's for sure, they drew the worst team in the field that got hot at the right time. Always interesting...until the first goal is netted.
I get the Vermont love per last year, but their schedule is nothing noteworthy.
Nine ACC squads...and no Wake or Cal, who both had their moments this year. Absurdly rich conference.
Should be a fun tourney.

The seeding committee is a joke. It's 4-8 coaches that are completely biased and there is no accountability for them. Hopefully they have changed out a few of them this year.

Hoping to see great urgency from the guys. This squad has seemingly lacked leadership at times and can really lay an egg when they get on their back foot. Hoping for a sweet 16 but realistically thinking beyond that is a reach.

yep. I feel like we will either lose to WMU in round 1

or to Vermont in round of 16. For some reason I don't see us losing to Furman in Greenville, I think we have a very good chance to win that one.

Caught everyone off guard. Like any title winner, some luck fell at their feet...not a thing wrong with that! It's so much different when the target's on your back.
SMU simply aren't that good...so they'll make me eat my words. Until no one's left from the ACC, that's where the champion will come from. Not sure 'Cuse should have been in over Wake or Cal, but State laying an egg against them apparently is what impressed the committee, despite the egg they laid vs SMU.
With focus and good health, I like the Tigers chances. Those mental cramps have been costly, but the talent is unquestionable! 'Tis the season to peak!
On the gal's side, Vandy will be tough...but no more so than other sides the Lady Tigers have tackled. They're MUCH better than when the year began as was expected. Flipside, most all other squads are, too!
