List of "safest" cities is out and posted on Tnet.
All lists like this may be fun, but of course "not accurate", just some kid who has to write a column every day.

Crime stats are manipulated. Politicians and cops in any area do not want to be seen as "high crime" as that reflects on them.
Even down on the SGT level reports are trashed.

"Reported crime" and "crime" can be vastly different.
FBI stats are the worst.

The biggest change in crime is that it has become more mobile.
Decades back, most crime was in certain areas of a town as criminals were not very mobile.
That has changed.

Considering the # of kids, Clemson is very safe compared to most anywhere.

........ however..... starting at the last Saturday in August..... Clemson needs to be butchering any opponent that stands in there way. Cops can do what they want....but do it after the season. We got some payback to dish out
