Do you think their situations are similar in that they both left their schools for more money? And their former schools thought they were asking for more money than they were worth?


Beck is reportedly getting paid $4M.
Tennessee reportedly offered Nico $2.5M.



Based upon what I’ve seen…I think Nico has more upside than Beck.

Beck was coming off surgery. He wasn't a lock at Georgia. He had issues. Miami gave him money and it was a good call for him. His draft stock was junk.

Yea I’d have to agree with you there. Beck got lucky Miami paid what they did coming off surgery he was prob goin to be taken like round 6-7 if at all. Nico thinks he’s better than he is and prob has bad advisors. He’s DJU cousin if not mistaken so prob runs in the family. His dad is one of his ppl so he’s big Dave 2.0 with Nico considering he turned down 2.5 million. I don’t see anyone paying more for him right now. Go Tigers!!

I believe so also... Nico over Beck , but I questioned some of these kids intent more now! Unfortunately it is the new world of NIL and college football...

The issue isn't so much the money. Utenn wasn't going to cut him for asking for more as thats more common than you might think. The issue is that he held out from practices and did not exercise good faith.

Nico had already signed his agreement and had already been paid over $2M for last year. He decided he didn't like the deal anymore and basically held out (like an NFL player) for more money. Tennessee declined to offer more, so he's transferring.

The problem is that he can transfer. He signed a deal, backed out, and quit/left. In pro sports, those deals go both ways. You can decide you don't like your contract anymore and hold out, but you can't just quit and go sign with another team.

Seems like most of y’all aren’t familiar with the Cavinders

Carson Beck has been dating Hanna Cavinder.

Hanna and her twin sister are important college women’s basketball players at Miami.



This relationship had some influence on Beck’s decision I think



But then they broke up very recently
