And how the change would make the Defense much improved. Sammy brown made a huge difference in the run game and getting pressure on the QB. We haven’t seen it all year and once we changed to the 4-3 and put Sammy on the field the defense was a lot better. Hope we stay with it, Go Tigers!!!

I don't think Tech was ready for it.
Brown can be a loose cannon on some plays, but it looks like that's what we need.
He definitely has a motor.

Yea I agree. Not sure why this scheme was not utilized earlier. Puts a DL on the bench but with current injuries should not be a huge issue.

We have always played a 4-3 but sometimes the 3 have been 2 backers and a safety instead of 3 backers.

We played more of a 3-3-5 to start. It morphed into 4-3-4

I liked when VT went with 3 DL… dang did not understand that. Guess they figured that was more advantageous on the back end but Mafah made them pay more than once.
VT is currently no where close to where they were when they entered the ACC. Feel like they are going through the Clemson years of the 90’s. No fun.

I talk to several fans of va tech. They're not happy with pry. They were 85th against the run coming into our game. I'm sure Mafah was salivating watching tape.
But the media and fans have been on pry and team for 2 years now because he and staff just cannot make adjustments. Either in game or halftime. Also, several fans I talked with were not happy drones was starting. They felt the other qb was doing good. 🤷♂️ just FYI
