Blaming the Coaches and the refs has nothing to do with all the missed layups

and short jumpers. That was just horrible! I have never seen anything like that at any level. Every coach worth his salt will tell his team on a bad shooting night to "Take it to the hoop." Well, if you can't make layups, the coach kinda sorta has his hands tied.

It's a little harder to make those shots whilst being bludgeoned.

While the game was listed as basketball, it resembled a rugby match.

We had a lot of points in the paint.

Your post makes it sound like we settled for long jumpers all night when we did not.

His post didn't sound anything like that. He clearly said that the team was missing a layups and short jumpers.

While 37 minutes of horrible basketball might be factual, it doesn’t take away from the fact that (1) once again, the refs allowed a football game to be played Thursday night and the 1st of Friday, then called every since hand check in the 2nd half. But swallowed the whistle the last 10 seconds. And (2) while we played 37 min of horrible basketball might, we played a #### of a 3 minutes and UL played horrible allowing us to get back in it- but then we were screwed for the umpteenth time in this league. Name 1 time we’ve gotten the call that was controversial in a meaningful game. Never!

Let's be honest, Clemson played like $#!7 the last two nights...

and if that continues, we'll be seeing a quick exit from the NCAA Tournament. While the second half of last nights game was a gritty performance, you simply can't go seven minutes without scoring in tournament ball.
With that, the no call on Hunter that should have sent him to the foul line for a chance to tie the game, may be one of the absolute most egregious and flagrant no calls I have ever witnessed.

Way too many missed layups and bunnies. Terrible. We still deserved to get that call at the end though.
