is outrageously expensive.
Noticed the raw corned beefs are starting to show up at Ingles. Anybody else done pastrami?

Wife had brisket last night at a restaurant here in Lex. Was SUPER smoky tasting
I was kinda shocked at the somewhat "decent" prices for what they served. We had 2 nice drinks, appetizers, she had brisket, I had a 14oz ribeye, sides, desert, desert drinks, and all for $100. Same meal at Halls would run $400. Steak was good, not quite Halls (not aged) but a very good cut. Brisket wasn't impressed with, mainly because they serve it in a sauce. Would be better unsauced IMO.
Might try that recipe sometime.

in Arlington a couple of weeks back. MEXICAN is must reiterate. 4 of us, two dudes and our sons. 2 margs a piece. 2 tequila shots a piece and food.
$165. I almost fell out. Mexican dinner for 4 over 100 or even 120? Insanity.

But Obed, look up Yorktown HS. I have never seen such facilities in my life. Unreal. Their pool was incredible and I guess they crush everyone in Field Hockey and Lacrosse…..from what my bud was saying.

I can cook a steak dinner at home for about $5 more than McDonald's. No joke. Did a beer butt chicken and veggies and fed all 5 of us for about $15.

chophouses and other restaurants. It is (or was) common in NYC and other places. Waiters would actually PAY the restaurant for the chance to work there. The tips were THAT HIGH.
