It has seven games to get back on track. If that slide continues, it will be interesting to see where it ends up in the postseason.

You have to earn a top 8 seed. Especially with so many SEC teams boosting each other’s RPI. The Tigers looked like they might after beating Georgia, but that was a mirage. You don’t get a top 8 seed when there’s lackluster hitting, no consistent 2nd or 3rd weekend starter, and a bullpen lacking depth to overcome those issues.
