On another site, they had a story about Xavier Griffin (LB), who "picked up one of the Tigers’ opening offers last June, has a couple of connections to Clemson. He is a former teammate of current defensive tackle Champ Thompson and his grandmother played basketball at the school in the 1980s."

My first two thoughts were "Cool, I was at Clemson in the 80s", but then "grandmother"?????

Yep, not young anymore.
