Is a big mistake in my opinion. Hard to believe that guy has that job. Not a good look for the Dems.

Dems don't fix this being dems. Pubs don't fix this being pubs.

The left is just as capable of trotting out bad leaders of people.
Americans fix this being Americans. Look away from Washington. Look at your friends, neighbors, local leaders.
The states created the United States. Only the states can save it.
History shows though, when a government is broken, it attracts progressively worse and worse leaders. The best and brightest, the people best able to heal the government and nation, are always marginalized by the bad actors chasing power and control.

If a good bit higher, then younger voters could be energized. As in I am out of school, can’t get a good job. Can’t buy a home. Can’t start a family. Rent is high as ####.
Already lower stock markets and threats to social security/ higher Medicare premium could shift senior voters. And who knows what the hack Hispanic voters are thinking.

AOC and Hogg, a pair deserving of each other.
Dems run AOC I sit out 2028, no hope on the other side to run someone I can vote for either.

We could get up to an unemployment of Euro socialist countries, and then you'll hear the drumbeats of socialism. Being young and ignorant, they'll buy it, not realizing that days of 7 percent unemployment are the good times in those countries. But hey, you'll get to see the specialist physician for "free", if you make it that long.

So 7% unemployment is OK? Lets see the numbers play out.

My point is the historical disinterested young voter could become motivated. Shifts in other demographic voter groups could also be significant. The perception of a MAGA mandate is overstated. The MAGA party is on tenuous footing especially if economic conditions deteriorate.

All of that misery is likely to happen. I was just thinking the Dems still seem out of touch though with David Hogg as the the Vice Chair. They are also pushing AOC really hard . I was hoping they wouldn't leave be pushing these easy targets for the right. They will never have easier elections than the will in 2026 and 2028. They don't need to double down on crazy. They need look moderate and rational.
