has completed its Stroke Play portion of the Event. Our very own, Katherine Schuster, was the Medalist posting a -3 Score for her 2 Rounds. Kat will be Seeded #1 as they begin the Match Play portion tomorrow. Match Play will consist of the Top 32 Gals from Stroke Play.
Kat Tees Off @ 7:30am CDT . . . Paired against Gracie Piar, of East Alton, Illinois.

Katherine Schuster is 1 Down through 6 Holes in her “Sweet 16” Battle . . . Plenty of time, no need to panic . . .
We are still not getting any hole by hole scoring . . . So I have no idea how the gals are playing . . . It’s a bit frustrating actually.

(As you can see by attachment 2, no “hole by hole” scoring is being posted even though they have provided a venue for it in their website. None were shared in the Round of 32 either. Shameful 🤦🏻)

Thanks for all the posts over the last two days. The group started 10 mins after Kat has posted thru 12... so we should get another update really soon. Just like stroke play, this every 3 hole thing is crap. It's 8 matches. How hard could it be?
You'll notice if you expand all, the last group is the only group posting by hole and using the scores. Frustrating!!!
I would hope that tomorrow's matches would be hole by hole updates. Either way, a very nice article on Kat. Surely she received some hardware. I'm disappointed in our women's golf not posting more than they do. Would have been nice to have a video of her long birdie putt on 18. They're weren't many that birdie that hole.
Bodes well for the fall as she will surely be in the rotation.

Okay!!!! 2 up thru 15. Wow, what a feather to make the semi-finals. Can't stand this now.. no telling when the next update will be but for now, this gives me a wonderful feeling. She loves to play golf. But it's amazing all the other things she does.

She is a Junior and has dropped her Scoring Average 1.5-2 strokes per Round EVERY Year . . .
Looks like she’s on pace to do it again this Season!!!
Those improvements don’t JUST HAPPEN . . . obviously, she is putting in the work!

Not talking about her game, or anybody elses, but in golf, what kind of swing you have is not NEARLY as important as, can you repeat that swing, exactly the same, time after time. Just look at Jim Furyk. No coach in their right mind would teach that swing, but he won Major Championships, and shot FIFTY EIGHT with it.
