Still not sure the helmets even touched. I thought Dabo was going to spontaneously combust after the call was confirmed.

I normally support officials in their in-game calls but this call was utter bullsh*t. Smith turned away and made contact with his shoulder, in his chest.

He did exactly what the rule was intended to make players do***

With all this controversy about biases, paying players,

Nov 7, 2014, 1:59 PM

and situations like these one would think the ncaa would try to restore its image in the eyes of the country. The ncaa has never been scrutinized this much over so many things. The ncaa should be able to step in and correct mistakes and overrule whatever the conference says. At this point a major problem is the conferences almost rule the ncaa, the ncaa could put an end to all of this by actually telling georgia they don't give a ##### what conference they're in their player took money for memorabilia and you can try for reinstatement next year and that should be the end of it. Something's going to have to be done about all of these issues that seemingly all end up being an issue associated with the conference or conference officials. I'm not saying it will be this year or next year or even the next 5 years but eventually there's going to be a breaking point especially with the paying players issue and college football is going to end up not being as big as it should be. Were from the south so it's hard to imagine because most everyone follows college football but states up north and out west aren't like that, college football is not a way of life in a lot of places so they have no problem ditching college football for the nfl or pro basketball or what have you. The ncaa should say look here's a stipend so you can eat and travel due to not being able to work and if you get caught taking more money you are suspended for the remainder of the season or if its in the offseason you're done for the upcoming season to set all these rules then have no back bone is going to let every dirty program team or player know they can do whatever they want but they won't get more than a slap in the wrist. Unc is another prime example of not just breaking a small rule but being about as dirty as you can be yet the acc is doing their best for a slap on the wrist the ncaa should absolutely hammer unc about to the point they did penn st because to me all of unc knew this it wasn't just 2 crooked men like penn state getting the whole team wrecked. Sorry for the wall of text rant but am I alone in worrying about this or feeling like this is the way were headed under the current system?
