Let me get this right, so I am keeping up. We don't like:
-woo hoo during tiger rag
-hype video during the entrance
-we will rock you during the entrance
-alcohol sold in stadiums
-"it's thirrrrd down"
-bells during third down
I am trying to keep a running list of all the things that are apparently ruining or will ruin games. Let me know if I missed anything.

2. The DJ sucks... can't help it your generation can't go three seconds with out autorap crap blasting in the background.
3. "Hype video" is ok... it's just the autotune rap crap (see above) that goes with it. Can't help that your generation can't get excited about something/anything without the required ticktock/fast edit/quick cut visual to guide your life.
4. The we will rock you is soooooo 1970's and waaaaay over played. Like "who let the dogs out". Since we are going back in time just play the Macarena.
And don't worry, soon us old guys will be dead and the world will then be perfect....

I fixed all these headaches years ago. Just ceased going to football games. Only baseball now. Saved a lot of money. Getting set to abandon TV also….going back to radio.

For me it’s the woo hoo and the whooo after the cadence count. Both are absolutely embarrassing. Then add in the professor and staff of the game, people clapping during the hero of the game and not even listening to why he or she is a hero, and clay swinney on the field ever. Besides that it’s a fun day.

It's rare that I get to a game so I'm not familiar with many of these activities. This is the first I've heard of WWRY being part of our entrance and that does strike me as especially generic. In general, like many curmudgeons, I have come to value more of the purity of a college game...which I think we all can agree, is becoming less and less of a factor. So I won't apologize for having the opinion that the continued over-processing of the college gameday experience is making it a less enjoyable event. The non-stop need to pound attendees with stimulus is very annoying and reeks of a young marketing...er..."executive"...who ultimately thinks that football itself couldn't possibly hold their fans' collective interest. I say the same thing about ESPN...they surround the sport with so much controversy, so much analysis, so many hot takes and peripheral products because ultimately, I'm not sure the decision makers are sports fans.
