Going to FSU game, need some tips
Nov 1, 2015, 2:02 PM
|
|
I'm meeting a tailgate at the game next week, but I'm going to have to drive in at a later time, and I don't have a parking pass or anything.
Where is the best place (or any place within reasonable walking distance) that I can park before the game?

There is some pay parking near downtown, it will be steep Saturday, $50-$75. If you go into some of the residential areas, there is some parking on the shoulder. Officially Clemson has outlawed on street parking, however, I parked for free on Riggs for the ND game and the owner game me a beer.

Just follow the public parking directions and hoof it in. It may be a long walk - plan how much stuff you are carrying carefully and wear sensible shoes.

the golf course area, if you get there early enough or the Y Beach and catch the shuttle.
The Y Beach is best accessed by going in the back way around the lake.

park at YMCA campground and take the shuttle to the game and back to lot after or walk. It's only a 10-15 minute walk back.

I heard that there may not be shuttle services or as much general parking.
