It is time again to show the nation where the real and Original Death Valley is located in the college football world. Too many times over the last 20 years that other place has been picked as louder than we are. At times they are identified as Death Valley with no competition as if we do not exist. Is it true? Really? This from the place--Clemson, SC --- where the college football crowd rule originated against VT in 1980? This from the place that was loud before it was cool to be loud.

For decades Clemson fans have contributed to the mystique and the noise in Death Valley. This is going to be an exciting game. Remind the nation where Death Valley is located at and lets move this party to 4-0!

GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your team could get penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct if the crowd was consider so loud that the opposing players couldn't comminicate. I seem to remember this happening vs Duke in the mid 80's.

I was at the game in 1977 and also went to South Bend for the win in 1978. Wore the orange coveralls and had ND fans begging to purchase them after the game. Great hospitality the fans were a class act. Flew my little 172 Cessna to the game into a head wind and took two days to get to South Bend. Spent the night in Lexington Ky. Tail wind after the game and got back in about eight hours. One of my better away games and adventures!
