It’s not a blowout loss like Steele had to West Virginia. But it was the rotten cherry on top to a poor defensive season. I wonder if Dabo pulls the trigger this week or does he wait to see who’s available. The longer he waits the less likely it is to happen imo.

The thing is, he's not the 'leave Wes at the airport' kind of guy. He's more of a 'Let's get home and go over the data and make an informed decision' kind of guy. I kind of doubt there's any word publically until after Christmas. But...who knows how Portal Dabo is thinking, he's an entirely new entity.

Conn also needs to be replaced. My guess is Dabo will already have replacement(s) aligned before changes announced. Remember NFL has another couple of weeks if there’s any candidates there unlikely as it seems.

Dabo defends the staff to the ends of the Earth, and he’s made 4 or 5 post-game comments this season about the defensive coaching. That’s a meaningful outlier for him I think. I’m guessing this game confirmed what he already knew, rather than convincing him of something he was waffling on.
