I am bad to buy everyday items and have no clue how much they cost. Things like razors and steaks are always expensive, just is what it is…purchase and move on…
This morning I had to get some shaving cream. Barbasol to be exact.
$4.79 for a can of shaving cream!!!!!???? Wha the absolutely hell is going on? It used to be like .99 for a small can and 1.79 for the double size.
Things are out of control boys!!

The one can I been using for 4 years I had to throw away half full cuz turned to liquid. So I just started on a new can. Maybe the price will come back down in 4 years or I can invest the $2 I make from you to afford 2 cans??

So I go through it quickly.
Nair is also asssspensive. But necessary for my Bigfoot-esque back hair.

Shaving Cream and similar items, it matters more WHERE you buy them

drug stores, grocery stores, things like shaving, toothpaste, deodorant are marked WAY up unless a special sale.
You gotta buy the basic household items and toiletries at a discount store, a Wallyworld or DG or Ollies, places like that. Or when you see a sale somewhere, buy like a years supply at once.

It's good to stay connected to the problems of the working class, since my at-home shaver does not itemize shaving cream costs in his fee.

I was a USMarine when I last bought shaving cream. Once my hair grew a half inch or so, after boot camp, I began shaving in the shower. My hairy head became my “brush” … lather up, shave and save a ton.
Fifty plus years later I have plenty of hair and am rich!

You shaving your legs or something?

WTH do you need shaving cream for? Shave in the shower with soap. Been doing that for decades.
I guess you could shave your legs using soap, too. Never tried it.

So are multi-blade razors.
Safety razor in the shower will get the job done. Just be a little more careful.
