Interesting series results that may shock many

Obviously everyone knows Clemson owns the USC series but a few others were very surprising plus one that is really close that is a nationally historic game
Clemson > USC 65-41-4 Clemson wins 59% of games UGA > Clemson 41-17-4 UGA wins 67% of games GT > Clemson 49-26-2 GT wins 63% of games Auburn > Clemson 34-13-2 AU wins 69% of games Fla St > Clemson 18-8 Fla St wins 70% of games
Texas > Texas A&M 76-37-5 Texas wins 65% of games Michigan > Ohio St 58-44-6 Mich wins 54% of games
Simple stats based on why the Clemson USC series is one of the best in the country. The closest rivalry game in the country based on games played and results is Mich - Ohio St and very few would consider that a lopsided rivalry.
Many Clemson fans bring up the series record but at 59% it is really not nearly as big a gap as it seems to longtime fans of both schools. I would have never guessed GT owned the series against Clemson.
This only comes up because I have never heard a GT person bring up the series record after Clemson beats them. Nor have I ever heard anyone mention the Fla St record after Clemson beats them.

just because there might be larger gaps somewhere else, doesn't mean the series hasn't been dominated by clemson over the course of 100+ years. add to that where it being played in columbia all those years, it's not close.

Obsessed with big brother Clemson much. Just go celebrate your ACC championship from 50 years ago and your 5th place rings and be happy because at the end of the day that's all you have. Pathetic really...

The simple statement or question was why does it seem like such a huge lopsided rivalry to longtime followers ( including me) when it is closer than several others yet others are never discussed. I know of no other school that chants the overall record to their rival or opponent.
I have told you idiots calling me a coot in the past I am a graduate of both so just because I am not as one sided as many doesn't mean it isn't good to get info from both schools when you follow both.
I simply find it funny that a small percentage is sooo blindly one sided and probably never set foot on Clemson's campus nor donated to Iptay.

59% is dominance? you win one out of every 1.69 games?
Surely if you went to Clemson your deductive reasoning is better than that. Maybe you even have an Engineering degree from a highly rated university that in any other situation 1 out of every 1.69 would be competitive or interesting at the very least not dominance

of these stats. GaTech has more national championships than UGA. Also, just to tell the complete story SC beats Clemson 37% of the time.

Now Tree do you put it in an interesting perspective by turning it around but the actual number is USC wins 41% of the time which I agree sounds worse than Clemson wins 59% of the time

1. All Games with GT were played in Atlanta until the 1970's. 2. Clemson has 9 wins and UGA 9 wins and 1 tie in Clemson which means 50% Clemson and 50% UGA in home games in Clemson. 3. FSU had a great run when Clemson lost Danny Ford in 1989 -- otherwise Clemson and FSU would have battled during the 90's and 00's. 4. FSU has not beat Clemson in Death Valley since 2001. 5. Big Thursday played in Cooterville until 1960. Clemson would probably have more wins if it was a home-away before then.
GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those are great posts about it being in Columbia for so long and the wins could have been more.
That takes orange colored glasses out of it and actually uses common sense. More could stand to use that when engaged in an interesting debate.
however, the gentleman stating FSU caught us after we lost Danny has to then use that when Clemson caught USC after Sparky, Brad Scott, etc in the list of coaches who maybe weren't the most liked in USC history.
The UGA series being in Clemson only a few times was a great point that I was not aware of Clemson UGA in DV is a much better game historically.
Bottom line I will be in WB on Aug 29 and in DV on the 31 a great labor day weekend for me!

10+ win seasons with huge wins over bowl opponents? No. The Danny incident was a huge blow to Clemson sports that has taken the program 20 years to recover. Some of if was self-inflicted by people working for Clemson who got scared of success. I contend if Danny had been here FSU would not have run roughshod over the ACC in the 90's. Clemson would have stood in there way.

I would say many across the country think of Danny as a cheater so really where would Clemson be without him?
What would those records be if Clemson was clean. I mean younger guys forget but there was clearly paying for pay going on and Clemson got busted. I would count previous and future wins not wins during a tainted time including the national champ
