Didn't make one excuse to the media after the game about missing 4 or 5 key players last night. Didn't even mention them.
Do you think Brad would have been the same in an exact senario?

Yeah glad we won and only thing I'm giving credit fot Martin for.
If Brad does the same thing I would give him a lot of credit too but I have my doubts.
Martin is on the hotseat too and they will probably pull the trigger a lot sooner then we will...

And everybody has their own opinion but BB has been nothing but a class act since he arrived at Clemson. He handles himself with dignity, honesty and genuineness. I have not seen him make excuses and don’t know why you would question his ethics. In my opinion, he is well above the fray and is a bit ridiculous to challenge him on that issue.

I don't 100% agree with this comment. While I think BB is a good mentor, a great representative of Clemson, and a decent coach, there were a few times last year where I felt he threw some players under the bus. I was a little bit disappointed in his post game interviews a few times and I wasn't the only one as several on Tnet pointed out the same concerning comments. Overall CBB has been a very respectful coach to the university and players, unfortunately I do feel we have reached his pinnacle and would like to go another direction unless he has a miraculous year.
About Frank Martin, I have liked that dude. He says what he thinks, he takes the blame for everything, and I am a little surprised he hasn't done a little better at Cootville.

Yeah I respect that. No BB would have definitely made excuses. I hope Grand Neff does what should have already been done by now.

not worried about Martin so much as how we played against depleted team. Ugly game on our part. We were not ready. Even after we got big lead we shut down. Defense is not great, prone to droughts, silly fouls tos etc. years of the mediocure. not sure CU dedicated to program to improve.

Anytime Brownell and Martin face each other it is a game for men only. Extremely physical game. The objective is to win the game. Clemson achieved the objective.

I give Martin credit for getting a technical and hollering and screaming at his players to the top of his voice. Only the coots would put up with him embarrassing himself and the university as he did. He is probably saying as the previous President did coming to this swamp was the biggest mistake in my life. Spurrier got out in the dark of the night??

I also respect that.
However Brownell has never made excuses.....
Brownell is actually a really great coach...he just isn't a great recruiter....but he does great with what he has

Does he do great with what he has? His average recruiting class is 68 his average RPI finish is 98
|

I must admit I probably would have gotten a technical if coaching that game also. The touchy calls went both ways, but the refs were way too in love with hearing the sound of their whistle in this game!
