Enjoying a Machard de Gramont 2021 Chorey les Beaune. Lively little burg that tastes of crunchy red fruits, wet leaves, and savory spices. Just a baby, but expressive and concentrated, well integrated oak tannins, and perfectly balanced structural elements. Absolutely beautiful.
Having this with a nice charcuterie & cheese board with my old lady. Sent the kids off w grandparents for the night, we’re going to an adults only neighborhood Halloween party. I’ll be dressed as one of my heroes, the one and only Bob Ross.

Like before it was cool to like Bob. Like I got t-shirts, figurines, etc. I was up to $7k bidding on one of his paintings years ago before I dropped out (which would have been a good buy in hindsight. I had no idea he’d blow up like he did). I’m a fanatic.
