The offensive staff needs to be gutted

We hire from within which I get but this new batch has been miserable. It's obvious that our play-calling has gotten stale and we were one of the worst offenses in the country last year. I know everyone wants to blame only DJ but there is a lot going on here.

GT confused us on defense last year. This year GT Offense as out-gained us against OUR GREAT DEFENSE.

Here are the reasons we need a new WR, RB, OC, and OL coach (maybe give the OL more time). Here are the reasons.

1. WR recruiting / development has been horrible. We drop passes, we don't get open. We went from tons of WRs being drafted to what we have now.

2. RB recruiting has been God-awful for a top-5 program.

3. Play calling. Seems like there is never anyone open on passing plays and the other play calls are horrible stale. GT has a better offense tonight.

4. OL development/evaluation has been horrible. The interior OL of Parks, Putnam, trotter are absolutely horrible.

It's not just DJ folks, it's the whole coaching staff on the offense.

Recruiting has a lag

Spiller had little to do with signing Mafa, Shipley, or Pace. Recent recruiting shows you what he's done - not a top 50 RB in two years. But that's ok with you.

Dabo could have made quality hires but he didn't.

He has hired former players or former Alabama teammates who have little or no experience and has paid them a ton to learn on the job.

Not sold on anyone on the offensive staff.

This is a well formulated thesis with a lot of numbers I don’t agree with at all.
