You know, I can sort of guage how good Clemson might be

by the degree that Dawg fans want to "shoot the breeze" with me about football.

Over the past couple of years, I have heard less and less from them. (I am in the middle of Dawg country.)

I mean, my feelings are getting hurt that they don't want to talk football with me here in this pre-season...soon-to-be season that places their Dawgs squarely in Clemson enemy territory.

They used to like to talk recruiting and how games went, but, of course, they didn't feel very threatened by Clemson--and they certainly had the "superior air" thing going on beneath their thinly veiled attempt to make me think my lowly Tigers also had a place at the table.

And, now, it's like...crickets.

Wonder if they don't like me anymore...you know, since my Tigers actually must be somewhat relevant now....

Clemson was scheduled as a creampuff 6 years ago when uga agreed to this home and home. We were no more than a warmup.

They snickered when we hired a guy that had never held a coordinator's job much less been a head coach. When Datbo went out and hired a guy that was only two years out from coaching high school for an OC they all laughed out loud.

They must now wonder what sin they've committed to have the SEC world around them crumble and pray for forgiveness for trangressions against the gods of football.

They can make their excuses to their conference buddies. Clemson will get to them later.

north Atlanta. The UGA fans have been pretty aggressive around here. If we don't win it's gonna be tough around here. But I don't give a crap. I wear my Clemson colors proudly.
