I'm guessing most Tnetters don't have time to listen to the audios.

Too bad for them. Dabo made sure PF understood why he ignore offers from others. Clemson not only brought him back into football but actually gave him a shot to prove he is the best head coach in the nation.
Thank you for the support.

It’s actually the opposite of his “if you don’t like me losing 4 games a year then I’ll take my ball and go home” attitude this year

After Dabo lashed out at the punk taking cheap shots he plainly repeated his famous saying, 'I'll be at Clemson until they don't want me anymore.'
You really ought to pay more attention to what Dabo says and ignore what folks say he says. You're investing much too much of your knowledge and attitude in rumors rather than facts and you're slandering Coach Swinney.

it's a completely different matter to deliberately find ways to demean and debase, which is Finebaum's modus operandi, when it comes to Dabo and Clemson.
Thus, I have no problem holding that character in scorn, largely avoiding his broadcasts and perfectly willing to toss him and his drivel out onto the anuses of human history!

drivel I wouldn't hear about it. I record Clemson football games, which are the only thing I watch on ESPiN, so I can FF through all the commercials and breaks. The TV is almost always on mute so I avoid all the ESPiN rhetoric that would be puked up into my ears and onto my mind.
There comes a time when you just got to say, "Not only is this crap not making my life better, it's upsetting me and wasting my mind and time.'
My time is too precious to let it slip away because I'm participating in something that upsets me.

Thanks for posting. I’d always wondered what got up his craw to make it so personal against Dabo. Win or lose, Dabo is a good man and PF makes himself seem so petty going after him. PF is shriveling away while Dabo continues to bring light to young lives.

The difference between the two is that Finebaum is a company man who...

follows his leader promoting the company hype. Dabo is a leader who is loved and respected for establishing a more honest and ethical way for his company to behave and operate.

Very different fields but both in top.
Dabo for developing men and garnering championships.
Paul for driving clicks and traffic.

…someone like Dabo Swinney who has more class, more character, more integrity, more morality that you could ever dream of attaining, you either take the high road or the low road.
When it comes to CDS, Finebaum has chosen to live his life in the gutter.

Occasionally I get dissatisfied with the product Dabo fields. This interview clarifies things and reinvigorates my confidence in our coach. He has endured enough failures and setbacks to develop real character and resilience. He will get ourTigers back to playing championship level football.

If I were a fan of another team listening to that at the time, I'd have been blown away and thought, "wow, this guy is great. We need him as our coach."
Kind of wish Dabo would go back and listen to this. I think he's gotten a little bitter after having spent so much time in the limelight. Everyone's been wanting to take him down for a while now. National media hates him, because he talks about religion and has an accent; other fanbases are jealous; other coaches and programs have a bullseye on him; and expectations among Clemson fans have risen. That's a lot to manage psychologically, and I know I wouldn't be very good at it. Listening to this, I feel bad that maybe, just maybe, he isn't as happy as he was then.
I remember that time really well. I'd just gotten married, and my wife and I were living near Miami. She had just gotten pregnant with our first child, and we went to the Orange Bowl to see Clemson play Oklahoma - the game with the Teasdall to Wilkins fake punt play (which was amazing). Watching us run the ball, particularly with Deshaun, was stunning. Watson took my breath away over and over again. 2015 was magic. I'll never forget, and I'll always be grateful to Dabo for that. Hope he never forgets either.

Dabo expected heat for losing 4 games in the first half of the season.

Dabo is a smart man, this isn't his first rodeo. He's taken his share of heat before. He was subject to a three year inquisition under the threat of the rack, iron maiden and death in the sure dungeon of being fired after given the chance to fulfill his career dreams.
That first three years as HC including his interim year was a nightmare for him. Since he hired Chad, which just happened to be after a good recruiting year, he has carried the weight of media saying he knew nothing of x's and o's but was just a manager guy.
That's like saying or comparing him to Lee Iaocca who saved Chrysler corporation (they say) yet had no idea how to build a car. They still say that. Lee left in a few short years because he wasn't wanted after CC was reestablished financially.
How the heck does a man who played on a national championship team in his 4 years of college then coached position for a nearly a decade not have an exhaustive knowledge of x's and o's?
How? Media hyperbole passed around like a crackhead ho at a frat party.
