Old school Republicanism has evolved as global geopolitics have changed.
MAGA arose because the ‘traditional’ Republican Party had become addicted to sound bites to maintain its relevancy. Societies needs changed, but the ‘traditional’ Republicans such as Romney, Bush family, J.Kasich, Paul Ryan, John Bolton, etc etc etc had become comfortable with how they fit with those same old ‘traditional’ Republicans such policies that were useful to a steadily shrinking ‘traditional’ Republican constituency.
Limbaugh, Gingrich, and O’Reilly made the adjustment. It is noteworthy that none of them (since Gingrich retired) were in Republican Party as they evolved into embracing MAGA.

What a shame that drug prices are coming down as a result of Trump’s tariff centric negotiations with EU countries.
BTW, a trade deal with P.R.C. that is far more favorable to us than anything that pre-Trump administrations have dreamed of will be successfully completed.

Got to root out the corruption among the government employees. This corruption has hurt science and replaced it, 8n significant measure, with experiments that are designed to create data for a specific predetermined outcome. In other words, fraudulent research.
Study up on the AIDs research from the mid-1980’s through early 2000’s as led by and large measure … you guessed it … Anthony Fauci.
Fauci’s stature gave the then-Burroughs Wellcome pharma firm the impratatur of legitimacy to AIDS therapy AZT. Thanks to Fauci’s power to direct which researchers got NIH grants and which ones did not get funding, Burroughs Wellcome enjoyed a near monopoly on AIDS therapy for decades.
The primary problem with AZT is its extreme toxicity to blood cells of all classes. AZT safety trials were managed by giving extensive blood transfusions to those who received AZT regimen. For what were categorized as ethical reasons, these AZT safety trials did not have a placebo group; the ethical justification being that withholding AZT on the placebo group would be ak8n to a death sentence. Therefore, the AZT safety trials used case studies of AIDS sufferers who did not have access to AZT.
Here is just one crooked aspect: The AZT therapy group received numerous blood transfusions; the case studies of the AIDS sufferers who were the proxy lacebo group did not get blood transfusions.
This matters because the safest method of helping AIDS patients was to get blood transfusi9ns. Thus, the ‘proof of safety’ for AZT was cited that it didn’t cause any harm relative to the placebo group that did not get AZT. The conclusion that ‘AZT is safe’ did not mention that p, without frequent transfusions, AZT would have killed the patients who received AZT therapy.
I could go on about how Fauci’s NIH shut down a world reknown cancer researcher from U of Cal Berkeley (his name is Duesberg) because Duesberg publicly … and repeatedly … advocated against AZT because of its ineffectiveness and danger as a blood toxin. Real science, in which experimentation that may yield results that contradict the ‘settled science’ of the health agencies, gets silenced via economic coercion.
