On one hand, it's clearly unconstitutional, and the Courts would strike down any attempt by Trump to run for a third term. Also, it's a trolling thing that Republicans like to throw out to "own the libs."
But the right-wing in this country has moved hard in a fascist direction. So, I would imagine that alot of them truly want Trump to remain in power as long as he can.
I'm of the opinion that he will not be president after January 20, 2029. But the fact that we are even having this conversation should worry people.
