Regardless of your thoughts on him as a coach. You absolutely have to respect the man. He is a winner plain and simple. With his attitude, he will make Clemson a consistent winner

And leaned even more.
I am grateful to have someone like Dabo leading our young men.
I have no doubt that our program will improve under him. But no matter the ups and downs at the end of the day the way our young men develop and live the rest of their lives is more important than any one game or even one season.

about his mom having polio and all that time in the hospital. We spent some time with her during Ladies Camp and what a sweet, classy lady. When you think of what she's been through, you see where he gets his sense of fairness and compassion. He's lucky to have two exceptional women in his life-his mom and Kathleen. And we're lucky to have them all!!

Can #### it.
I'd rather have this guy leading my football team than any of your "proven" coaches. I just don't understand how you really don't get it. I bet if they held the events you'd camp out for tickets to kiss Spurrier or Saban's @ss. What a joke.

said, it's very difficult to read this without having to regain composure. I would suggest that the fact that Dabo has been so open regarding his youth has endeared him to so many people, and I admire a man who demonstrates the personal courage and humility to be willing to share his experiences. Whether you like him as a coach or not is immaterial...it's the "character" that makes this man.

loves a winner and there is no question that Dabo is a one of a kind. I have always known that he was a genuine guy (can't say that about his predecessor) and the players know it too. This article doesn't mention the situation that occured last year just prior to the ACC Championship game and Dabo's interest in the young cancer patient who visited the team. I knew when I read that story that we had a keeper on our staff. Makes you feel good to be a Clemson man doesn't it?

remembers what a great man they think he is. Sometimes fans forget after a bad loss (not suggesting that we will lose). Just pointed out that fans can turn on a coach quickly. It was that long ago that Dabo was on the hot seat.
