The only player worth a darn on our DL, JT Surratt, was hurt against Furman. To be fair, 75 of Furmans yards was a busted coverage sweep play. I don't play ands and buts though and it its what it is.
Carolina's only hope is to mimic the UGA game and the Clemson game strategy from the last few years: play ball control offense and keep theirs on the sidelines. Even so- would be a major major upset if USC wins.

I've never made a dime coaching football and Spurrier has forgotten more about football than I'll ever know, but if the opposing defenses can't stop your running game (a/k/a Kentucky), why start throwing it?

and even then their offense was stopped. Game is 60 minutes long. But-- unlike some here -- I don't play if and buts - you get beat you get beat.
Of course it's easy for me to say that-- I'm not a Notre Dame fan this week LOL.

Well he did dial up a two pass play 75 yard TD drive to start the game then decided to run up the gut into an 8 man front the rest of the game.
