If Spurrier goes to the Plains and cuts Auburn this sattidy

Oct 22, 2014, 12:56 PM

does the ever present tone of "no way they beat us again this year" change?

it's important

I really don't think you have to worry about that***

which is exactly what Malzhan loves to do with Nick Marshall. Take care of the football and Auburn cruises although I would expect Davis to have a productive day running the ball for them.

I kind of hope they do win and hand auburn their 2nd loss (to a mediocre team).

Coots have already eliminated themselves from CFB relevance this year, but them winning this week would make our last regular season win look at least a little more respectable in the eyes of playoff committee.

Miss st loses to UK
BAMA loses to Tenn
Ole miss loses to LSU
LSU loses to Bama
Miss St beats ole miss and loses to UGA in championship game.
Miss st beats bama.
Ole miss drops another.

Best team is Miss St, who lost to UGA and UK and beat a couple of overrated teams in ole miss and Bama

Clemson mAmes playoffs and wins natty title in a rematch vs Fl State.

We all live happily ever after.

It depends on which Ref's show up

It isn't 1933 and the game isn't in Birmingham.

Litefoot , all of those wins you just listed were before they were this year's lumpy , discarded diaper of football shame.
There will be none of that nonsense on the plains Saturday.

I've been thinking that all year (for years, actually). If TB was behind the wheel, we would have soundly beaten UGA and FSU, but been flogged by UL and BC, GT and Wake. Then we'd win SC and then lose to Tennessee in the Gator Bowl or something.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The C0cks already shot their load against UGa...

Right now through kickoff it will be a semi-close game ...after kickoff on Saturday it will be as if there is a Sharknado in Spurrier's skivvies and the score will escalate in Auburn's favor o quickly that they will need to put a makeshift comma on the home teams jumbotron.

It'd be hilarious and make their whole conference look like a cluster-phuq, but it wouldn't change my thoughts about the remainder of OUR season.

I bet that Lorenzo " Admiral Akbar " Ward will need to catch that early flight home ....and he would be well served to not be in the SCar football offices when Darrh Visor arrives on early Sunday morning.
Heads up Lorenzo , those visors have sharp edges !

Re: If Spurrier goes to the Plains and cuts Auburn this sattidy

Oct 22, 2014, 7:32 PM

I was so confident that we would beat the coots the last 3 years, i am too scared to believe dabo can win vs spurrier.

I do not know if its us insisting on not adjusting, or the ol ball sac just being smarter, or just an obvious flaw in our game plan that he can see.

I watch each clemson game over and over including the losses, but ever since the one where their backup qb kept getting first downs, i cannot watch a single replay of their games vs clemson.

I wish i could be as sure as some of you all, but because i was so sure before and got stunned, i just cannot tell anymore.

I do not even live in SC so i do not have to tolerate thier annoying fans like you all do, for me i got to deal with the "go dawgs" nonsense, but i am unsure here. this time when we have a lead, bleed the #### clock CHAD.

I posted prior to their game against UGA that I never

Oct 23, 2014, 6:13 AM

try to second-guess Steve Spurrier.

Although I expect an Auburn victory, I wouldn't be surprised to see Spurrier pull a magic chicken out of his visor. If the staff at AU have their wits about them, that possibility should be part of their game planning.

The real fact of the matter to me is my long held belief that most Clemson people think you can toss out all the season's results prior to our annual game, for both teams try to play with a renewed intensity. That boils down to which team wants the victory more, and which staff has the better game plan. Simply put, Coach Swinney has to out-Spurrier Spurrier.
