Besides their academics, I don't see why the B12 would want them. I know some think Tech would have a bigger following if they played in a stronger league, but I just don't see it. If they(B12) were to take GT over Clemson they would regret it. I think some of thd decision makers need to stop looking at market value and look at the product. If these big 12 guys ever stepped foot in BD stadium on a game day they would understand that GT isn't even close to what Clemson offers.
And for what's its worth, I can't stand Greg Swaim. The guys arrogance knows no limits.

There's no question that #GT getting into the picture hurts #Clemson. I don't see both getting into the #Big12.

Clemson and FSU are No. 11 and No. 12
If the Big XII can land the Bee Bee Heads, Notre Dame will definitely be No. 11 or 12 ahead of Clemson. Otherwise, Clemson is in IMO.
The Big XII needs to add at least two teams now in order to have twelve teams and a championship game. Notre Dame's TV contract with NBC doesn't expire until 2015, so Notre Dame is not an option for the Big XII at least in the short term which is why you hear rublings about them jointing the Big XII in Olympic Sports only until football can come on board.
If the Big XII decides to go to fourteen teams, hopefully it would be Clemson, FSU, Notre Dame, and Georgia Tech. Although Pitt will make a strong push for the 14th spot.

I see Clemson and fsu as 11 an 12 ND being 12.5 abd when they fully join adding gt to make 14.

...those who believe that location = ratings are pushing GT ... plus it seems back-channel Jackets are begging, now that they saw the $$ numbers without Clemson and FSU.
Those who back Clemson look at the $$ brought in, and note that GTech's access to the Atlanta TV market hasn't brought them mega bucks....besides if they wanted TV markets, they'd be begging for Rutgers and BC.
