I got some yeti cups but never in a million years could I spend what they want for a cooler. My igloo does what I need it to do.

Go with Rtic. Yeti lost their patent and one of their family members decided to make the identical product with a different label. Half the price, works exactly the same. Made of the exact same materials. Check the comparisons on YouTube. I sold my Yeti Tundra 40 in bought 3 Rtic coolers.

What kind of patent did they have? I'm assume a design patent.

Spent less on those 3 than 1 Yeti 45.
One of guys that runs Rtic used to be a part of Yeti. Last heard Yeti is trying to sue them.

Can buy the Ozark Trail metal cups/tumblers from Walmart for 8 dollars, works just as good as yeti.

I have a tumbler I use - got it free at a convention.
refuse to put a sticker on the car or use their coolers. I am a terrible yuppie sheep.
pretty amazing company tho -- they are getting rich selling something most people simply do not need except to make them feel good about themselves

So much this...
When I see someone that has a combo of those stickers, usually on a 4x4 truck, I literally want to knock them the faq out! You forgot to mention the Browning sticker that usually accompanies the Yeti sticker.

Igloo and Coleman marine coolers will keep ice almost as long as a Yeti for a fraction of the price, and like someone else said, RTIC is half the price of Yeti and actually holds a little more ice but has the same or better performance.

Why is nobody addressing a serious issue here? What about Yeti magnets? YETI magnets are a magnet for thieves.... serious issue. Seriously.
