I didn’t say you did, I asked how it was an F1.

I did.
Doesn’t matter if he came from the back, as he’s making a play on the ball. There’s no rule that says you have to give a clean dunk.
In the air? Again, how do you make a play on the ball at the rim? Both of these parts of the rules are to protect players from cheap shots with no intention of going for the ball.
Blow to the head, this is the only part that could be argued, but again, play on the ball no intent.
Common foul, yes, F1 not a chance.

I stand corrected. THIS is the funniest thing I’ve read all day.
Listen, I’m about as devoted a Clemson fan as you’ll find, but it was clearly a foul and not surprising it was upgraded.

Terrible, almost a clean block, should've been a basic foul

He came over the back hard, shooter in the air, blow to the head. I can’t disagree with the F1.
We cannot finish first half or end of game. Over and over and over. We led the entire half then gave up a big run in the final two minutes. This is a good team, but we’ve got to figure that stuff out.

I don’t like it, but he did swat the guy across the face?

Wouldn’t say he swatted across his face, his upper arm made slight contact with it on the follow through after he swatted the ball, though.
I have no issue with a common foul, the upgrade is moronic, at best.

I agree. Since when can you not make a play on the ball when a player is in the air? Does that mean you can’t contest dunks? Doesn’t make any sense to me.

Yet, in the South Carolina game , we had a player get a steal for a break

away layup and the coot player grabbed him from behind and held him up. CLEAR FLAGRANT 1 per the rules. Reviewed and called an ordinary foul. Officiating just continues to deteriorate. It absolutely takes the fun out of watching.

I agree with you there. ACC officiating is inconsistent, and they’ve been the worst in America ever since I can remember.
