Yesterday was the most apathetic I've seen a crowd in Death Valley

in 25 years. Seats unfilled everywhere, when something bad happened most didn't seem to mind, running down the hill was just meh, the 4th quarter video felt vanilla and no crowd response, conversations about other stuff going on in the stands during competitive play, sooo many didn't come back after halftime...

Wild.

I agree. We expect to lose because our team is so helpless. Everyone knew the defense couldn’t get the ball back. Pathetic.

Or when folks just accept how mediocre and helpless we are as a program and team.

We had no shot yesterday based on the body of work this year. And people knew it.

All the bandwagon a—holes who made it so hard for loyal fans to get tickets for the past decade are now gone…of course.

Since 1980 been giving and going. Decal in back window allows 2 lot 5 parking and great seats in Lower C. One way trip is 292 miles.

Gave it all away yesterday since I had other stuff to do. Pretty sure that’s only the 2nd time in 45 years. Probably have something in 2 weeks too.

Sad part is it is all self-induced. Not me not going- the state of Clemson football. Don’t find fault with others who have better things to do

We see what we see, despite what we’re being told week after week. It is what it is, and it’s a long way from good. The excuses, lies and the “sales routine” has gotten stale, even comical at this point.

Agree.

Folks are tired of the gaslighting from this coaching staff (Dabo especially) telling us to believe what they say we should see versus the reality of what we actually see on the field.

Have you seen the box prices? Yes depending on number of seats add IPTAY, parking, and assorted bs they're in that price range.

Oh hey don't forget prices go up again next year AND Neff got a raise. Woo-hoo!

I agree with the unfilled seats, and I felt the crowd (yes, I was there) was more quiet than usual, almost anxious/nervous about what Vizzina was going to do. I heard an occasional boo early when he was struggling the most, but I didn't feel the crowd completely gave up on him (booing, that is).

However, with a diminished crowd in the second half, I was VERY IMPRESSED with the reaction from the crowd on the TD pass to Tristan Smith. Maybe both impressed and shocked.

Just my perspective from section UN.

The Tristan Smith catch was the best crowd reaction... even over the one handed catch. Shock was definitely a factor due to the down and distance.

I go to every home game. The crowd has been pretty lame the last couple years.

Lots of reasons for this…Iptay prioritizing new big donors vs loyal fans who have had same seats/parking for years. Larger number of out of state kids who didn’t grow up Clemson fans, failure of coaches to adapt to modern ways, etc

All we can do is show up, cheer as loud as we can to inspire others to join in, pray Clemson adapts to modern football

of winning. I yelled, did my best, but didn't mind the bad plays, nor SMU's good plays. I actually really enjoyed myself at a game for the first time in a long time...no lines for drinks or toilets, and didn't have to wait in the portal forever. I will be there for the rest of them, and I again will have no expectations.

I hate this apathetic side of me. But until a player plays with a motor, yells at someone, or plays above their abilities, OR until a coach does SOMETHING/ANYTHING that seems different, I'm afraid that's all DV is gonna get from me - a hollering, apathetic fan, who cares some which about as much as the team cares about winning.

Go Tigers!
