You’re right. You haven’t attacked Dabo’s model at all. My bad, your honor

Homer looks like he could still take snaps and run the option.
I told this story here one time before, but early in my freshman year, 1982 (maybe it was even during freshman orientation), I walked through the loggia and the Orange Bowl game was on that big screen TV in there. I stopped to watch.
It was very late in the game, and after a few minutes I heard a guy next to me say "man, I was tired."
I looked over and it was Homer Jordan. I might have weighed 160 at the time, and he didn't look any bigger than me.
I wish I had said something to him but I guess I was a bit star-struck.

I see the judge next to Woody. I think that's Perry Tuttle holding the orange cap. Put on a few lbs.

LOL! That is NOT Perry Tuttle.
Obviously not part of the ‘81 team but is that Michael Dean ? I know he has looked after his older brother for many years now.
Only time I saw him in person was at a Friday night high school game. We ( C A Johnson ) were playing South Aiken in our home stadium. As we exited our locker room and walked through a gate to access the field South Aiken was lined up in single file waiting for us to go first. I looked up at this monster of a player as I walked past. Moments later we busted through the paper and as we got to our sideline I asked some of my teammates, “Who is that tree they put a #79 on ?”
The reply was, “Dats da Fridge’s little brother.”
I said, “ That MFer ain’t little !!!”
I didn’t even know the Fridge had a little brother.

That's not Michael Dean either. I'm not sure who it is. I have some ideas because I was in school with them at that time but can't say for sure.

Danny Ford was a really nice guy.
I first met him in HS ( BC ) when he came to the football game at our place to scout William Perry.
When I learned who it was I went up and sat beside to see who he might be looking at on our team. Thats when he said he was there to see Perry. I had no idea at the time who Perry was.
He stayed the entire first half and we talked about all kinds of stuff.
He was a lot more approachable that you might would think. He's still that way.

When he was recruiting Michael Dean he came and talked to the team after practice one day. He was exactly what you'd expect, a downhome good ol' boy with a big chaw of tobacco.
