I've seen some pretty amazing drone shows. Granted mostly at night but I can't help but think that some really creative Clemson students couldn't recreate the old balloon release during the hill run. And then do some really AMAZING stuff with drones during night games too. :)

drone show sounds kinda weird for a school like Clemson. Balloons were awesome though. I wish we could have them at least once a year.

we set a record I believe. I have a picture from a plane with all of them in the air. Also, you couldn't see the field with all of them rising. I bet Boomer wished he didn't play that game.

Get on the Drone idea.

Love it.

Have all of them painted Orange/White/Regalia. Program them for a short flight above the stadium then a peaceful decent to an open field where they can be collected for the next game.
It would give the same effect and not harm the enviornment(don't think the balloons did either though).

Yup, definitely. The Hill is not the same without it. I also miss a full hill. Rewatched the 2016 NC State game earlier and the atmosphere was great. The Hill was packed!
