Georgetown is in a really nice part of DC. It’s a rich private Catholic School and the area is really boujee as the young ones say. Great restaurants and bars and Virginia is right the Key Bridge from it. To avoid the always constant mostly peaceful protesting about something avoid the temptation to go the Mall aka Monument area … their always mostly peaceful protesting something.

Yes, Georgetown is great school and beautiful campus.

But if you’re going to the game, you’ll be in downtown DC near Chinatown. Most of Georgetown’s games are played in the Wizards’ arena. It’s a cool area but not on campus.
