Dabo's in a position to achieve true greatness.

And earn all that money he's making too.
As David Hood just wrote, he's not building something like he was back in 2009/10--the thing's already built. Now he has to fix it.
And fixing it today is probably alot harder than building it was yesterday given the weight of expectations and portal, NIL, conference realignments...
If he pulls it off and CU's back in the CFP within two or three seasons, he's a legend. No questions.
Either way, it wont be boring.

If the necessary changes are made, I’d expect a playoff berth next season. We can easily be a top 12 team with the right coaches. Winning multiple CFP games is a different story.

No its a lot easier to fix it today than build it back in 2010.

Clemson had no appeal to recruits due to the decades of mediocrity, Dabo had no appeal because of no proven track record. Clemson has a lot of equity Dabo can pull on to fix this. If he can, he’ll prove he is an all time great. If he can’t, we will be remembered as another Oregon, a team that had a great run but is back to more of the same.

Yep, Oregon’s run with Kelly doesn’t compare to this achievement. However, Lanning is proof a program can be brought back with the right execution of a plan.

What he has accomplished is incredible.
What happens from here on out won’t change that, but it will change how he is mostly remembered by our fan base.

the Death Star. And ur right -- if it ends there, cant say he didnt do something big.
Im saying if he turns the thing around, he's doing some next-level, raise crap out of the swamp Jedi stuff.

Yeah, but right now he’s Luke Skywalker taking on Darth Vader (against Yoda’s wishes). Really stubborn. I’m hoping for Return Of The Jedi Dabo.

version of himself who returns to restore the balance of power in college football, freeing all from the clutches of the evil Emperor Sankey and Darth Saban.
I like it. Has legs.
